3D printing is a fast and modern method of creating prototypes in our foundry. Based on them, we produce sand castings for testing, and then implement mass production using die casting technology.

What is 3D printing?

3D printing is a process of building an object layer by layer based on a computer model (CAD). The material—most often plastic—is applied layer by layer until the final shape is achieved.

This makes it possible to quickly and precisely create prototypes, models, and components with complex geometries that would be difficult or costly to produce using traditional methods.

In our foundry the process is as follows: 
CAD model preparation

We design an accurate 3D prototype model using specialized software.

We adjust parameters to accurately reflect the geometry and functionality of the aluminum casting.

Layer by layer, a physical model is created using rapid 3D prototyping technology.

We present the prototype to the client for approval and check compatibility with other components.

The printed prototype serves as the basis for producing castings in sand molds.
