At Kowala Foundry we continuously invest in new technologies, processes and solutions that increase the quality and precision of our castings. We cooperate with research institutions, including the Łukasiewicz Research Network, to combine industrial practice with expert knowledge and implement modern solutions for our clients.
Research and development (R&D) is the process of creating and improving technologies, products and services. In practice, this means testing new solutions, analysing materials, implementing innovative production methods and continuously seeking ways to improve quality and reduce costs. Thanks to R&D, we are able to offer clients modern and more efficient castings tailored to market requirements.
We prepare a digital casting model, often using 3D prototype printing, which allows the shape and functionality to be quickly verified.
We analyze the properties of alloys and select the appropriate method, e.g. sand casting or aluminum pressure casting.
We create a sand or metal mold, maintaining dimensional precision and quality control.
We make the casting and then perform CNC machining, sandblasting and quality testing.
Based on research results, we implement improvements to the design, alloy composition or technological process.
Within our research and development (R&D) department we cooperate with the Krakow Institute of Technologywhich allows us to implement the latest scientific achievements in industrial practice. Together we carry out projects in the field of designing, testing and optimizing casting processesas a result of which our castings are characterized by innovation, high precision and repeatable quality already at the concept and prototype stage.
Our foundry brings 40 years of experience and craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation. We have modern tools that ensure your project will be completed with the utmost care and in the shortest possible time.
