Odlewnia „Kowala” została założona w 1986 roku The Kowala Foundry was founded in 1986 by Erwin Kowala. The first plant was located at 70a Daszyńskiego Street in Ustroń (formerly 22 lipca Street). Initially, operations focused on sand casting, a traditional technique that allows for the casting of various shapes from non-ferrous metals.
In 1998, the company decided to expand its operations and purchased a plot of land in Chybie, where construction began on a second production plant. It was there that pressure die casting production began.
From the early stages of its development, the company established itself as a family business – with strong craftsmanship traditions, but also with the ambition to strive for the highest quality and continuous development. From the outset, successive generations placed emphasis on perfecting the production process – from mold to finished casting – and on adhering to increasingly stringent quality standards.
